The Adams PBA02 Timpani Muffler will instantly decrease the amount of ring and resonance.
Made of weighted felt, they won't bounce around under normal playing levels.
They are also an excellent way to mute a particular drum you are not playing during a piece eliminating any unintentional resonance.
The nylon loop lets the muffler hang off one of the tension rods for easy access.
