Luka Drums make drums out of a solid piece of wood.

Do you know Luka snare drums? They are one of the only companies in the world that produces custom made snare drums with a wooden log. What does that mean? The shell is carved out of a log, which means no plies, no steam bending, no stave, no glue... just a log! This technique is not for the faint at heart, the wood must be properly prepared so that it doesn't crack. The Luka team has been making these drums for over 20 years.
